AC-DC dimmer controller

 AC-DC dimmer controllers are devices that are used to control high voltage DC appliances such as DC heaters, some fans and lights. These modules make use of phase control to achieve the change in the output of the module in order for you to control the brightness of a light, the speed of a fan etc..

Please note that these controllers are not suited to control high voltage DC motors such as treadmill motors since they tend to give high voltage spikes because the phase is being changed and the signal is being converted to DC.
